The mixture in the bin is regularly turned manually during which the disintegration of the test item is visually monitored. Figure 3 gives a visual presentation of the evolution of disintegration of Minima Shopping Bags during 8 weeks of composting. After 4 weeks the film remained only present at the borders. After 6 weeks still some small pieces were found at the borders, but 2 weeks later the film was completely disappeared. The disintegration has proceeded very well. The test lasts still 4 weeks.
